Hungarian Culture Days

The most important local community in Oradea, after the Romanian majority, is the Hungarian one, representing 25% of the total population of the city.

Hungarian Culture Days promotes local Hungarian traditions along with the common history we share. Music and theatre are all part of the event’s attractions, along with traditional Hungarian cuisine, one of the best-known components of Hungarian culture.

The event also includes the much-awaited allegorical chariots parade, organized together with twin town Debrecen (Hungary). The joy and colour explosion will march all the way from Debrecen to Oradea Union Square, where the famous flower chariots are eagerly awaited to be admired.
