Bring the little ones to the ZOOO and you will spend a few relaxing hours in an oasis of recreation and quiet. Currently, the ZOO in Oradea is one of the most modern ones in Romania, being an airy and relaxing park, a wonderful combination of colours, sounds and appearances, where animal welfare prevails, all being presented to the public in new, roomy pens and aviaries. In addition to the multitude of animals, at Oradea Zoo you will also find a playground specially designed for children, a snack bar and a souvenir shop in case you want to make some shopping for your loved ones at home.
An eternal beauty that awakens childhood memories
Established in 1960 and modernized to European standards in 2013, Oradea Zoo is home to approximately 150 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and fish, summing up to over 700 specimens. Among the public's favourites are the 6 species of monkeys, zebra, meerkats, but also large cats such as the Siberian tiger, the lion, leopard, jaguar and, of course, animals specific to our country: bear, wolf, lynx, hart or deer. The location of the zoo is also very inviting. Located close to the city centre, ZOOO is easily accessible with public transport.
